Fall River man sentenced to prison for ghost gun, crack cocaine
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Fall River man has been sentenced to seven years at the ACI for possession of a ghost gun, a large capacity magazine and cocaine.
David Stuart, 33, pleaded nolo contendere to possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a ghost gun, possession of a firearm by a fugitive from justice and possession of large capacity magazine.
Stuart was apprehended by the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Sections (VFAS) and the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on March 6, 2023.
The investigators were tasked with finding a violent fugitive, Stuart, who they believed was residing in a Lincoln, RI residence.
Investigators observed Stuart exit the rear of the Lincoln residence and drive off in a blue Kia.
Stuart was stopped and taken into custody without incident.
Two bags of crack cocaine were seized from Stuart’s possession.
After a search of the Old River Road residence, a 40-caliber semi-automatic ghost gun, large capacity magazine and $2,600 in cash were recovered.
