Fall River man wanted for assaulting a child

FALL RIVER, MA (WLNE) – Police are searching for a man suspected of physically assaulting a child in Fall River.

Fall River Police are searching for Richard Durden, 49, on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a child under 14, along with strangulation or suffocation, wanton or reckless endangerment of a child, and assault and battery.

Durden is described as 5’3” tall, weighing around 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
