Fall River officials say a man has died after an electrocution incident
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said a man has died after an electrocution incident on Tuesday.
Around 9:20 a.m., Fall River crews responded to Tecumseh Street for reports of a person who had been shocked by electricity.
At the scene, the victim was found “stranded” on a scaffolding platform after the material he was using interfered with a power line, according to Fall River fire officials.
Firefighters used a stokes basket and Ladder 4 to lower the victim to the ground, and began medical care.
The patient was taken to the hospital, where he were pronounced dead, according to police.
Fall River Police said the victim has not been identified out of respect for the family.
