Fall River officials urge residents to take precautions due to mosquito spraying

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials with the Bristol County Mosquito Control Project are finishing spraying for mosquitos in Fall River.

According to the city health department, mosquito control has been spraying a pesticide around Kennedy Park since two this morning.

Residents should keep their windows closed, rinse vegetables from their garden and keep pets indoors during the spraying.

The city said the spraying will wrap up today at 6, but it will pick back up on Friday.
