Fall River Police arrest man after shots fired

FALL RIVER, R.I. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said that a man was arrested after a shots fired incident early Friday.

28-year-old Thaddeus Quinones possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device, improper storage of a firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, carrying a firearm without a license, and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.

Police responded to the area of County Street and Eastern Avenue for reports of gunshots and found Quinones, who allegedly said he fired a gun at people who were following him.

The department also alleged that review of multiple surveillance cameras showed no evidence of anyone following Quinones.

A later search of his residence allegedly found two unloaded handguns, multiple magazines, and ammunition, and another search found a 30-round magazine, three spent shell casings, and a bullet hole in a residence on Eastern Avenue.
