Fall River Police arrest man after van theft

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said that a man was arrested for allegedly possession of a stolen van and narcotics.

Billy Cordeiro was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of the stolen van.

Officers observed a “suspicious” van near the intersection of Lawton Street and Renaud Street.

A van had been reported stolen on Albion Street, and officers said they confirmed the vehicles matched.
