FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said it has arrested a man who allegedly exposed himself in a McDonald’s play area.

On Feb. 10, Fall River police responded to the McDonald’s on Presidents Avenue after receiving reports of an intoxicated male who had exposed himself at the fast food restaurant’s play area and dropped pills.

Police were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody after police said he fled the scene.

After giving police a false alias, hospital records identified the man as Robert DeMello, who had two active warrants.

Police searched his possession and allegedly discovered multiple illegal substances.

DeMello was charged with open and gross lewdness, drug possession, assault by means of a dangerous weapon, and outstanding warrants.
