Fall River police arrest shooting suspect

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police said they arrested a suspect in connection to the Oct. 6 shooting of a 55-year-old.

Deandre Haskett was arrested on Oct. 18 and charged with assault and battery with a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license to carry, carrying a loaded firearm without a license to carry, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and vandalism.

The 24-year-old is suspected of being the culprit of a shooting on Rodman Street in which the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in each leg.
