Fall River Police identify armed and dangerous suspect in shooting incident

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) – Fall River Police have identified a suspect in a shooting incident on South Main Street in January.

On the afternoon of January 22nd a shooting incident took place in the area of South Main Street. The suspect fled the scene.

Police said the Detectives and Major Crimes and Special Operations Divisions used witness statements and security camera footage to identify the suspect as Rodney Z. Jette, 18, of Fall River.

Zette wanted on the following charges:

  • Carry/Possession of non large capacity firearm without LTC
  • Carrying a Firearm without a license in public,
  • Attempt to commit A&B by discharging a firearm,
  • Vandalizing property 3 Counts,
  • Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building

Police said Zette is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should contact Fall River Police immediately.
