Fall River Police investigating deadly hit-and-run crash
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Fall River on Dec. 21, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III.
According to Quinn, 34-year-old Jordyn Lyttle, of Fall River was hit and killed on Dec. 21.
Police responded to Stafford Road around 5:15 p.m. for reports of a bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle.
According to police, Lyttle was riding a bike on Stafford Road when a car hit him, throwing him into a second vehicle.
Police said the first car drove off after hitting the victim, and the driver of the second vehicle stayed on scene.
Lyttle was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
