Fall River police investigating home invasion

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police responded to a call of a potential stabbing on Lawton Street at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers responded to the address where a 43-year-old man reported that he heard noise coming from the entry door to his building.

When the victim investigated the noise, three males forced their way into the hallway.

After a brief struggle, the victim sustained an injury to his right hand and the three males fled on foot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
