Fall River police search for suspect in armed robbery

The Fall River Police Department is searching for a male suspect wanted in connection to a robbery that happened Saturday at a Seven Eleven on North Main street.

The clerk told police the suspect placed an object to his back, which was believed to be a knife, before demanding the clerk empty the cash register and his own pockets.

The suspect then fled the store with the cash from the register, leaving the clerk’s loose change behind on the counter.
