Fall River police seize pistol during search, arrest three

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE)- Investigators from the Fall River Police Department arrested three after executing a search warrant on Friday.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested following the search, as well as 38-year-old Jason Rainville and 26-year-old Brandon Carliss, who both had outstanding warrants.

Investigators found a 9mm black Walther handgun underneath a pillow during the search.

They also found a loaded magazine close by with rounds for the pistol.

The 17-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm without and FID Card as well as possession of ammunition without an FID card.

Rainville was arrested for a warrant for possession of a “Class B” drug. Carliss was arrested for a warrant for assault and battery.
