Fall River police task force makes two drug-related arrests

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department Community Action Suppression Team (CAST) made two drug-related arrests this week, according to the department.

The CAST team executed a search warrant at a Dwelly Street residence on November 6, where they found 30.62 grams of cocaine, fentanyl, Psilocybin mushrooms, $1,258 in cash and Clonazepam pills.

Damien Brooks, 46, has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a class A drug and possession of a class C drug.

Amanda Alves, 39, is charged with possession of a class C drug.

The CAST team, along with several other agencies, arrested Stephen Alves, 47, at a Country Street residence on November 8.

Evans is charged with trafficking a schedule 1 drug (cocaine), felony eluding and resisting arrest.

He was also charged as a fugitive from justice.
