Fall River, State Police Gang Units arrest man on gun, drug charges

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department announced that a man is facing charges after an investigation by the Vice, Gang and Intelligence Unit on Monday.

According to Fall River Police, they worked with the State Police Gang Unit to arrest Edgard Navarro Rios in the area of Herman Street and seize 9.4 grams of crack cocaine and a Ruger 9mm handgun with a defaced serial number.

Navarro Rios is charged with carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a class B drug and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.
