Fall River teen arrested on illegal firearms charges

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police detectives arrested an 18-year-old city resident Tuesday on several illegal firearms related charges.

Aaron Pavao was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed on his Warren Street residence, according to Fall River police.

He is charged with possession of a firearm without an LTC/FID and two counts of possession of ammunition without an LTC/FID.

During their search of the residence, officers seized a Walther PPKS firearm loaded with five rounds of .380 ammunition, rounds of .22 ammunition and 9mm ammunition.
