FALMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Falmouth Police responded to a car that crashed into a home overnight.

According to a Facebook post, fire and rescue was dispatched around 2:30 a.m. to find a mid-sized SUV in the kitchen of a single-family cape-style home on E. Falmouth Highway.

The driver of the vehicle had already exited the vehicle, and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

With full intrusion into the structure, there was significant damage to the vehicle and home, including an active water leak, electrical hazards, and structural compromise.

The house is inhabitable, and the town’s inspectional services are currently working with the homeowners who did exit the home safely.
