Fans come out for Rhode Island Comic Con
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Comic Con returned to the Ocean State this weekend and brought actors and creators for the screen and print with it.
The convention was held at the Rhode Island Convention Center and the Amica Mutual Pavilion throughout the weekend.
Actors including Marisa Tomei, Christina Ricci, and Anthony Daniels met fans and spoken about their work.
Meanwhile, fans showed up cosplaying, or dressed as their favorite characters, to meet creators, browse vendors, and mingle with like-minded individuals.
“I really just enjoy being in costume,” convention-goer Ryan said. “Being able to wear something I made feels phenomenal.”
