Fans out in force for Celtics championship parade

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The NBA Champion Boston Celtics boarded the famed duck boats to hit the well-worn Boston parade route Friday.

Fans from all over New England, some staking their seats in the wee hours, gathered to greet the Green as they celebrated their NBA Finals win over the Dallas Mavericks with the Larry O’Brien Trophy in tow.

ABC6 Sports Reporter Ian Steele was at the parade to take in the celebration with the massive crowd of Celtics fans.
