Fans react to Patriot’s response on ball investigation

In the days leading up to the big game Patriot fans are flocking to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro to stock up on gear, and to defend their team.

New England is caught up in a scandal involving improperly filled balls. Bill Belichick spoke to the media today addressing the allegations for the first time since a league investigation was launched. The coach says he had no knowledge of it and was shocked.

Fans appear happy with his take on deflate–gate.

“He’s the coach and I believe him. That’s all there is too it,” said Gary Enos of Taunton.

“I don’t think it’s a big deal. I think its just we got 2 weeks and somebody’s got to talk about something,” said Andy Ellis of Medford.

Patriot’s faithful saying they already put the events behind them: On to Seattle!
