Fans say one final goodbye to the ‘GOAT’
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Tom Brady fans are in Foxborough for one final goodbye to the man many simply call the “Greatest of All Time.”
“I mean I wasn’t even mad when he went to Tampa Bay,” Providence resident Ray Rogala said. “I had to make sure to grab a jersey.”
Fans came together ahead of Brady’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Gillette Stadium.
“The emotions are really high with Brady,” New Hampshire resident Aidan Daniel said. “Even if you don’t follow sports, you know the name ‘Tom Brady.'”
The event drew in a sold-out crowd, with at least 45,000 expected to make their way to Patriot Place.
“I think the energy is going to be like a Super Bowl,” Pennsylvania resident Greg Disler said. “I think it is going to be like the best energy that has ever been in that stadium.”
