Father and son to appear in court for drug dealing operation

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A father and son will appear in court this morning after both were arrested for a family drug dealing operation.

The pair, 69-year-old Michael Bevalaqua and 35-year-old Michael Decosta, were arrested yesterday on Carnation Drive after executing a search warrant at their home.

Bevalaqua and Decosta were charged with two counts of conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and possession of a controlled substance.

Some of the substances found included Fentanyl, Adderall, Ritalin, and Oxycontin.

Bevalaqua is also facing gun charges.
