FDA investigating illnesses from microdosing sweets
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating a series of illnesses caused by Diamond Shruumz-brand products.
The FDA is recommending the public to not buy, sell, or serve any of the brand’s Microdosing Chocolate Bars, Infused Cones, and Micro Dose and Macro Dose Gummies.
A report by the administration said that 12 people in eight states have reported illnesses after consuming one of the above products, and that 10 were hospitalized.

Reported symptoms included seizures, central nervous system depression, agitation, abnormal heart rates, hyper/hypotension, nausea, and vomiting.
