Federal Hill valet driver hit

A valet driver was hit on federal hill causing a chain reaction slowing down traffic on a busy Friday night.

The driver works for Venda Ravioli. He was struck  on the corner of Atwells Ave and DePasquale Ave.

Police say his injuries were minor that he was able to walk away.

A fire truck responding to the scene was hit by a RIPTA bus.

"I was sitting on the bench with a friend of mine here. I looked up and heard a bang and I saw where the car had hit the person allegedly from what I made of it and luckily I think he’s going to be ok," said Frank Marotto. "The fire truck blew the horn but the bus kept going and it crushed the bumper of the fire truck somewhat."

It’s not clear at this point if any of the drivers involved will be cited.
