Feeling like Fall this week
A chance for showers Wednesday, brief warmup Thursday
After a wet weekend, we’re drying out today across New England. However, the effects of severe weather are still being dealt with through parts of Massachusetts, where there was a radar-confirmed tornado in Worcester County on Saturday. Officials from the National Weather Service will be out today surveying storm damage from these storms. Luckily, we were spared of most of the severe weather in our area, but we did pick up some beneficial rainfall – over an inch in some spots, including Providence.
Today, expect a fall-like feel with temperatures topping out in the low 70s for most. Clouds will hang tough through the day, but there will be a few more peeks of sunshine later in the afternoon. With high pressure in control, tomorrow is shaping up much the same – with a bit more sunshine in play.
Wednesday will be cooler with lots of clouds and the chance for some spotty showers, especially in the afternoon. Other than that, it’s looking like we stay dry through the rest of the week.
Have a great Monday!
