Feeling like summer later this week
Stellar weather continues for the foreseeable future!
We have sunshine every day through the weekend, with warm afternoons and cool nights.
Overnight lows are expected to dip into the low-50s, with areas further outside the city dropping into the 40s as we experience a great deal of radiational cooling.
Another fabulous day of sunshine and average temperatures will accompany us tomorrow. Warmer air will usher into the region Thursday and Friday and into the weekend as we approach 80.
Down in the Gulf of Mexico, Tropical Storm Francine will soon strengthen to a hurricane before making landfall tomorrow along the Louisiana coast.
The storm will then move up the Mississippi Valley as it weakens heading into the weekend. No remnant rain will penetrate into the Northeast as strong high pressure prevails.
