Fire at waste and recycling facility in Taunton

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Taunton Fire Department responded to a fire at a waste and recycling facility on Prince Henry Drive Thursday morning.

Firefighters responded to the facility, which is owned by WinnWaste Innovations, around 9 a.m.

The department said that visibility was poor inside the building, hampering efforts to fight the fire.

The cause is still unknown and there were no reported injuries.
