Fire damages 2 homes in Providence

The Providence Fire department is investigating a fire that damaged two homes Saturday night.

Fire Officials say the fire began in the three story building at 128 Clarence Street shortly before 6 p.m. on May 23 and moved to the multi-family home next door.

Everyone made it out safely and no injuries were reported but the buildings sustained extensive damage.

Officials say the cause is under investigation.
