Fire damages multi-family home in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fire displaced several residents of a multi-family home in Fall River Tuesday morning.
Flames broke out just after 3AM at the house on Whipple Street.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke pouring out of that home.
Everyone got out safely, but officials say there is major damage to the inside of the home.
National Grid had to cut power to nearby homes while crews battled the fire.
The Red Cross is helping the families affected.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
