Fire destroys multiple homes in Burrillville

Crews in Burrillville have a fire under control but not before destroying multiple homes early Monday morning.
The 2-alarm fire happened on Bethany Lane around 2:45 a.m. and fire crews are currently putting out hotspots.
Fire officials say 3 homes caught fire and only the chimneys remain standing.
Firefighters had difficulty accessing water, having to bring it in from a local pond.
The houses are vacation homes located in a remote area in the woods.
The houses were vacant and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the state and local police and fire departments.
