Fire in Fall River displaces four on Sunday afternoon

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Four people were displaced after a fire broke out at a home in Fall River on Sunday afternoon.

Fire officials said that the fire started at an Andrews Street home at around 2:40 p.m.

The fire started on the outside of the home, ran up the side, and burned out the electric meter.

The home sustained about $20,000 in damage, according to the Fall River Fire Department.

Of the four people displaced, two of them were handicapped children, fire officials said.
