Fire in Pawtucket extinguished early Monday morning

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – The cause of an early Monday morning fire is under investigation of the state fire marshal.

According to the Pawtucket fire department, they were notified about the fire at 2:00 AM.

Firefighters were sent to a two-story home on Whitman Street.

The department said the home was occupied at the time of the fire.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
