WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Office of the State Fire Marshal (OFSM) has announced that forensic analysis of the Matunuck Oyster Bar’s surveillance camera system provided no information on the cause of the business’ devastating May fire.

In an OFSM statement, Fire Marshal Timothy P. McLaughlin said “Fires of this magnitude often leave limited physical evidence.”

Surveillance hard drive data could not be recovered due to the damage caused by the blaze.

The fire remains under investigation.
