The Fire Department is not saying what the powder was, or where it came from, but hazmat crews were seen in the building and the street was blocked off during the investigating.
No one was injured and the scene has since been cleared.
Crews told ABC6 News that there is no danger inside the building, and the incident is still under investigation.
