Firefighter from Ireland accused of rape in Boston

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — An Irish firefighter visiting Boston for Saint Patrick’s day is now being charged with raping a woman at the Omni Parker Hotel.

According to the Suffolk county DA’s office, 37-year-old Terrence Crosbie of Dublin, Ireland was arrested by Massachusetts state police after the victim told authorities about what happened.

Surveillance footage also puts Crosbie at the scene.

He was ordered to not leave Massachusetts and will return to court in April.
