Firefighters battle blaze at Pawtucket home

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A house fire in Pawtucket erupted shortly before 6 p.m. Monday evening.

ABC 6 News crews are at 14 Paisley St. where firefighters could be seen working on a three-story home with smoke billowing from its windows. Flames could be seen coming from the roof of the home around a chimney stack.

Firefighters on ladders were seen breaking windows on the upper floors to gain entry.

Around 6:45 p.m., flames could be seen erupting from the top floor of the home.

Crews also observed someone on a stretcher being taken from inside the burning home.
