Firefighters battle house fire in East Providence

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Firefighters battled a house fire in East Providence on Sunday afternoon.

Crews from the East Providence, Providence, and Barrington Fire Departments responded to Martin Street at around 3 p.m.

The fire started on the second floor of the home, according to fire officials.

No one was injured during the fire, only one person was home at the time.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
