Firefighters extinguish house fire in Swansea

SWANSEA, Mass. (WLNE) — The Swansea Fire Department said it fought a fire at a home on Twin Acre Lane on May 3.

The department said that the home was “heavily involved with fire rapidly extending,” and that six vehicles were called to fight it.

The fire affected the first floor and basement of the home, and its cause is under investigation.
