Firefighters respond to fire that started on boat in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Fire Department responded to a fire at two houses on Indiana Avenue Sunday.
The department told ABC 6 News that the fire started in a boat and spread to the two surrounding homes.
Damage was mostly to the exterior of the houses as well as smoke damage, and one person had to be transported to the hospital.
ABC 6 News crews on scene saw multiple emergency vehicles on scene including a ladder extended to the building.
