First plane from Germany lands at TF Green

The second international flight to touch down at TF Green Airport landed Thursday night.

The first plane from Condor Air arrived from Germany a little after 6 p.m., followed by a quick celebration before the plane took off again, heading back to the country.

This is the first time Rhode Island is offering direct flights to Europe. There will be two round-trip flights per week to Frankfurt during the summer.

The first international airline to TF Green launched earlier this month, to and from Cabo Verde.
