First suspect in New Bedford murder case to face judge

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Six people are now charged in connection to a May 26 murder in New Bedford.

Thursday morning, the first suspect will be arraigned in connection to the case.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s office says, 18-year-old Elias Ramos of Fall River is charged with murder, after 21-year-old Kimberl Gedeon was shot and killed near Bedford and South Seventh Street the night of May 26.

33-year-old William Allen Robinson of fall river and 17-year-old Dariell Encarnacion Couvertier are also charged with murder.

All three are being held without bail.

Ramos will be arraigned this morning at New Bedford District Court at 9.

The other three people arrested face lesser charges in connection with the case and will be arraigned in staggered dates starting in August.
