First-ever Nashville themed music festival comes to Rhode Island

CRANSTON, R.I (WLNE) – Hot chicken, sweet tea and both classic and contemporary country music landed in Little Rhody on Sunday.

The first Nashville, RI Music Fest is being held until 7:30 p.m. at Mulligan’s Island in Cranston.

Performances by the Mallet Brothers Band, Cousin Bobby Bluegrass, and the RI Rednecks are expected. 

The event is free with food and drinks for sale on-site. You will need to bring your own lawn chair, blanket, or umbrella.
