Fisher cats spotted in Westerly

Animal control says Fisher cats could be the reason for reports of pets disappearing in Westerly.
Officials say they have received 14 reports of missing cats in the last 30-45 days and five reports came in the last few days.
Fisher cats have been seen in the area and they usually prey on small animals. They are known to attack and one report claims they saw one running away with the pet in its mouth.
Coyotes have also been seen in the area.
