Flood watch in effect for Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Mayor Brett Smiley said that a flood watch in in effect for the City of Providence due to expected heavy rain.
Smiley said that residents should take precautions, especially in flood-prone areas, like clearing storm drains, avoiding flooded streets, and using extra caution while driving.
⚠️ A Flood Watch remains is in effect for the @CityofProv as we’re expecting heavy rain tonight and tomorrow morning.
