WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Ocean State Food Truck Festivals and the imPOSSIBLE Dream joined together Thursday to raise money for children with disabilities.

Food Truck Night, which took place at imPOSSIBLE Dream playground in Warwick, included food trucks, face painting, music, and a beer garden.

Executive Director Diane Penza said that the event has been running for seven years and is an additional way to raise funds and awareness for integration for children with disabilities.

The playground itself was Rhode Island’s first that was integrated for children of all abilities.

“This is our 33rd year having our playground open,” she said. “We accommodate children of all abilities and we do not charge for entry, so everyone can come.”

Ten percent of all sales that were made went directly to the impossible dream.

Another Food Truck Night will take place on Aug. 24.
