For 3 days in a row, average gas prices in Rhode Island break record highs

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Back to back to back record setting days for gas prices in Rhode Island.

AAA reported Wednesday that the average price for a gallon of gas in the Ocean State shot up $0.05 overnight.

The current average for gas is now $4.68.

One year ago, Rhode Island’s average was $2.93.
