NARRANGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — As the remnants of Tropical Storm Ophelia continue to hit Southern New England, the Block Island Ferry canceled Monday’s service — for the third consecutive day.

The Block Island Ferry said all traditional and high speed ferries were called off.

Prior to Monday, the ferry service was canceled Saturday and Sunday because of the rainy weather.

Rain continues to be in the forecast for Monday, with it being heavy at times into the afternoon.
