‘Forever grateful’: Brady, Edelman and Gronk reflect on time with Bill Belichick
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — From one legend to another, former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady released a statement Thursday about his former coach Bill Belichick.
Belichick and the Patriots parted ways after 24 years Thursday, and the now retired Brady expressed gratitude for his time with the coach.
“I could never have been the player I was without you, Coach Belichick. I am forever grateful,” Brady wrote in his post.
Brady wasn’t the only Patriots great to wish Belichick the best.
Former wide receiver Julian Edelman also added to the coach’s send off, writing, “wouldn’t change a thing coach.”
And it wouldn’t be a Pats reunion without Gronk.
