BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) – A former FedEx driver from Middleborough, Mass. has been sentenced for selling firearms he stole from packages on his truck.

The Massachusetts District Attorney’s Office says Frank P. O’Toole, 40, was sentenced on Friday, Feb. 2, to time served (six days) and three years of supervised release.

Authorities say between October 2021 and June 2022 O’Toole stole three packages containing firearms while he was working as a FedEx delivery truck driver in Middleborough.

O’Toole then sold the three firearms to an undercover agent during August of 2022, per officials.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of possession or sale of a stolen firearm on June 16, 2023.

Officials say O’Toole must complete 250 hours of community service as part of his supervised release.
