Former Mass. judge calls on FBI to investigate DCYF in Harmony Montgomery case
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A former Massachusetts juvenile court judge is asking the FBI to start a new investigation into the disappearance and death of Harmony Montgomery.
Montgomery is the New Hampshire 5-year-old girl who was last seen in 2019.
Her remains have yet to be discovered.
Her father, Adam Montgomery, was found guilty of her murder in 2024, and was sentenced to life in prison.
However, retired judge, Carol Erskin has requested that the FBI to look into the New Hampshire Division of Children, Youth and Families, saying they failed in their duty to help Harmony escape the abuse, neglect and eventual murder at the hands of her abusive father.
